Graduate Diploma in Theology and M.Th or M.Phil
Through the University we are able to offer a rich variety of Masters and Postgraduate Level courses in Theology. M.Th courses building on the pre-requisite of prior theological study are available in most areas of theology and can be followed full-time for one year or part-time for two years.
This course can be combined with the Graduate Diploma in Theology so that in practice, over a two-year period, students pursue closely supervised academic research alongside the development of new practical and pastoral skills. There are no additional fees for this option.
There is also an M.Phil option awarded for a piece of supervised research. Again, this can be taken alongside the Graduate Diploma in Theology. There is the possibility of this research continuing to PhD level, usually after ordination.
