Annual Report to the Governing Body of the Church in Wales15th April 2010

This year sees a dramatic change in the annual report, which reflects the college website.

The report was presented to the Governing Body at the University of Wales, Lampeter on 15th April. Bishop Dominic Walker O.G.S., who is Bishop of Monmouth and the Ministry Bishop of the Church in Wales, presented the report. The report was seconded by the Principal, Peter Sedgwick. There was a queue of people who wanted to speak to the Governing Body about the report, including Alison Jones, a third year non-residential ordinand from Swansea and Brecon, who said how much she had enjoyed training on the course; Carol Cobert, the chair of the Friends of St Michael's College; and Trystan Hughes, the chaplain at Cardiff University who teaches on the non-residential course. Trystan described the layout of the new report as a great step forward… “you could even call it sexy!” Archbishop Barry said that he was delighted with the progress of the college, which deserved all the praise mentioned in the debate.
