Ministry Officer
St Michael's College Principal, Revd Canon Peter Sedgwick serves as the Ministry Officer for the Church in Wales. He works in these six areas:
- He serves on the Clergy Terms of Service working party chaired by the Bishop of Monmouth, who is the Ministry Bishop for the Church in Wales. The findings of this working party will be debated at the Governing Body as proposed legislation in September 2010.
- He is a co-opted member of the Governing Body, which meets twice a year.
- From 2004-9 he chaired the Church in Wales body monitoring the various drafts of the Anglican Covenant , reporting to the bench of bishops
- From 2009 he has been a member of the Doctrine Commission, which includes responding to developments in the Anglican Communion. The commission reports to the bench.
- He serves on the Ethical Investment Advisory Body of the Representative Body
- He supports Stephen Adams in designing clergy in service training from ordination to retirement
